Uploading a video to Youtube

YouTube is a free way of storing short videos. You can upload a video (under 10 minutes long please) just by following these steps....

Embedding a Youtube video into a PowerPoint Slideshow

Some presentations can be really enhanced by a short video that can run from within the presentation itself, they can illustrate a point very clearly. However inserting a video file makes presentations really huge and the performance drops so you get long delays and gaps in the video itself.
The best way to do this is to link to your video on You Tube. The process is relatively straight forward (just a little bit of editing of a web address) and the results are great.

Your video needs to be on youtube and you'll need to be connected to the internet at the time of presentataion.

Of course the way this is presented is.... in a YouTube video!
